‘The A-Lanes A15 Consortium -a joint venture between Ballast Nedam, John Laing, Strabag and Structon, gives Project Management role for their Maximo PMS / AMS program to OXplus’

The Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management of the Netherlands (Rijkswaterstaat) has awarded the widening of the A15 between Maasvlakte and Vaanplein to the A-Lanes A15 Consortium -a joint venture between Ballast Nedam, John Laing, Strabag and Structon.
A-Lanes A15 contracted Oxplus to manage the ICT project, consisting a PMS (Performance Measurement System) and an AMS (Asset Management System), that both will be build into Maximo. The ICT project is a contractual requirement to support the DBFM Agreement (Design, Build, Finance and Maintain), with a nominal value of approximately €1.5 billion in which the consortium will be responsible for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of the project.
The project involves the widening of the entire stretch and includes the construction of the new Botlekbridge. The A15 is a major connection between the ever expanding port and industrial areas of Rotterdam and the European hinterland. The contract has a term of 25 years and a total nominal project value of approximately €1.5 billion. This means that the A15 MaVa project is the largest infrastructural project ever awarded by the The Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management.
